The challenge will cover the following points:

Understand – Squirrels will build an understanding about what decisions they can make as well as people who can make decisions

Manifesto – Squirrels will look at different points similar to those included in the Scout manifesto, look into whether they agree or disagree in a fun game

Advocate – Squirrels discuss with their leadership team what they enjoy about Squirrels and what could be even better

Represent – Based on what could it be even better about Squirrels, they will then share these ideas with local decision-makers in a fun way

Safety – All activities must be safely managed. You must complete a thorough risk assessment and take appropriate steps to reduce risk. Use the safety checklist to help you plan and risk assess your activity.

All Scout activities should be inclusive and accessible.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
