Our scout activity centre at Avery Hill provides fantastic opportunities to easily enjoy the great outdoors and is not too far from central London with Westminster Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Cathedral, The Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly, Buckingham Palace, Museums, Baden-Powell House Gilwell Park by train, tube, or bus!

Local attractions include: Greenwich Park, the Royal Artillery Firepower museum , the National Maritime Museum,, Thames Barrier, Cutty Sark , the Royal Observatory and the 02 Arena to name but a few.  You can find out more about things to do in Greenwich at www.vistgreenwich.org.uk

The following prices are for 2024/25, there will be an annual price review for April 2025.

A district discount applies to these prices, please enquire with the centre manager for the district prices.

 

Hall Hire - £125 24 hours

Hall Hire - £30 an hour

Camp fee - £6.50 per person, per night

Bunk fee - £3 per person, per night

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
