The Crescent is the Headquarters of Royal Greenwich District Scouts and is located in Plumstead which is in London Borough of Royal Greenwich, South East London (SE18).

The centre is within 15 minutes walking distance from Woolwich Arsenal Train & Docklands Light Railway Station which is a 25-minute journey into London Bridge, Charing Cross or Cannon Street. Stations.

The centre provides fantastic opportunities to easily explore central London with Westminster Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Cathedral, The Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly, Buckingham Palace, Museums, Baden-Powell House Gilwell Park by train, tube, or bus!

Hire Charges

The following prices are for 2024/25, there will be an annual price review for April 2025.

A district discount applies to these prices, please enquire with the centre manager for the district prices.

Hall Hire - £30 an hour

Overnight Fee - Hall hire £85 + £2 per person.

Our Centre has two main spaces with a third available for small meetings.

The Trophy Room

There is also a fully equipped kitchen

The building is fully adapted for wheelchair access with a lift between levels and WC facilities.

There is also a shower on the lower level
