The challenge will cover the following points:

Understand – Network looking into research for candidates standing in their local constituency

Manifesto – will read the Scout manifesto, evaluate the points and look at how party policies align with the Scout manifesto

Advocate – Network will discuss with the 18-24 team on what can be improved for Network, the District and Local area

Represent – Network members will attend one of the District youth hustings and put their views as well as questions to Parliamentary candidates ahead of the general election.

 

Safety – All activities must be safely managed. You must complete a thorough risk assessment and take appropriate steps to reduce risk. Use the safety checklist to help you plan and risk assess your activity.

 

All Scout activities should be inclusive and accessible.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
