Scout Manifesto

The challenge will cover the following points:

Understand – Cubs will look into who makes decisions locally as well as learning about what decisions they can make and qualities they have to make them decisions

Manifesto -Cubs will rank the points mentioned in the Scout Manifesto and attempt to create their own

Advocate – Cubs will take part in a pack forum with their leadership team and discuss what could be even better both for cubs and their local area

Represent – Based on the discussions at the pack forum, Cubs will write  to MPs or candidates letting them know what they would like to change about Cubs as well as the local area

 

Safety – All activities must be safely managed. You must complete a thorough risk assessment and take appropriate steps to reduce risk. Use the safety checklist to help you plan and risk assess your activity.

 

All Scout activities should be inclusive and accessible.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
