The challenge will cover the following points:

Understand – Beavers we gain an understanding about who can make decisions locally and what decisions they make

Manifesto -Beavers will look up similar points to those in Scout Manifesto, I’m right in a fun game as well as share their own views on what we should ask of the government

Advocate – beavers will discuss with their leadership team what they enjoy about Beavers and what could be even better

Represent – Based on what could it be even better about Beavers, they will then share these ideas with local decision-makers in a fun way

Safety – All activities must be safely managed. You must complete a thorough risk assessment and take appropriate steps to reduce risk. Use the safety checklist to help you plan and risk assess your activity.

All Scout activities should be inclusive and accessible.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
