Where: Eleven Acres Scout Camp, Luxted Rd, Downe, Kent, BR6 7JT What3Words – maps.tries.snap

Times: Starts at 7:00pm till 11:00pm please arrive early to allow for booking in.

Cost: Free

Age: 10 – 14 years, Cubs on link are welcome.

Clothes: Group scarf and clothes suitable for hiking as well as appropriate footwear and outer clothing to keep warm and dry.

Other information:   

• This event will require the scouts to have some navigation training. The maps and route details provided in the attached files should be used to plan their route before arriving on Saturday.
• Scouts will need high viz, torches included a red light for the walker at the back of the group, Map case (printout of the route will be provided on the day if needed), First Aid Kit, Smart phone with What3Words installed (this will help if they get truly lost)
• Scouts should have a good understanding of the country code.
• Scouts may bring a snack/drink.
