Welcome our new District Youth Lead!
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Kellie as our new District Youth Lead!
Over the next few months, Joseph will be working closely with Kellie to ensure a smooth and seamless transition, and you’ll start seeing more of her around the District. Joseph will officially step down from the role at The Big Takeover in May.
Joseph has dedicated an incredible six years to the role of District Youth Lead, and during that time, he has made an extraordinary impact. His passion for youth-shaped Scouting and supporting young people have helped to create a District that truly values the voices of its young people! While Joseph is stepping down from the role, we are pleased to share that he will continue to support Kellie in his new role as County Youth Lead.
Kellie brings a wealth of experience to the role. She participated in the World Scout Jamboree in Korea, has been an active member of the County Youth Team for several years, and is heading to the World Scout Moot in Portugal this year. With her experience in and her deep understanding of youth-shaped Scouting, Kellie is well-equipped to take on this important role and continue putting young people in the driving seat in our District!

It has been an amazing oppurtunity to have been the District Youth Lead for the past six years, and I’m excited to hand over the role to Kellie. Over the next few months, I’ll be working alongside her to ensure a smooth transition, and I know she will do amazing things in the role. I look forward to working together with Kellie, as County Youth Lead to keep youth-shaped Scouting at the forefront for Royal Greenwich Scouts.’
