Members Communications

If there is one thing that has changed radically over the past ten years, it is the vast array of methods of communication available to us.  A lot of these cutting edge tools are used by us in Scouting today to help meet the changing expectations of both our adult and youth members on how they are kept up to date with the latest news and information from around the District.

On this page you will find details of our District communications channels framework and information on the many ways we try to ensure that the right information goes to the right people.

HQ Adult Membership Database – Compass
Please remember that it is your responsibility to keep your personal details up to date on the national database – know as Compass. This will ensure you are kept informed of what’s going on in our District.

Visit Compass and login using your membership number – if you’re not sure of this number please speak to your Group Scout Leader or the District Appointments Secretary.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
